Services
Hoofcare, and everything around it.
Tony trims hooves, fits boots, carries out hoof consultations and gait analysis. Clair focuses on diet and management, organises appointments and sends out every visit report.

In an equine podiatry appointment Tony assesses the horse's movement before and after the trim, asks how the horse has been going since the last visit, makes a plan to improve the structures of the hooves, and will leave a care plan for between visits, which is all followed up in the visit report.
Regular appointments matter. In a natural environment horses self-trim daily, so frequent trims emulate this. This is why we only offer appointments every six weeks, or in some cases 2-3-weekly.
We carry fit kits for Scoot Boots, Flex, Fusion and Explorer so clients can try before buying. Clients receive a voucher for The Hoof Boot Shop after an appointment, though you're welcome to buy anywhere you prefer.

Your part in it
Much of the success of your horse coping without shoes rests with you. We may suggest changes to diet and management that feel uncomfortable, but we make those recommendations from experience of what works. If Tony comes out every three weeks, that's around one five-hundredth of the cycle — the rest of the progress is down to you.
