Charges and payment information (per horse)

Equine podiatry — initial consultation£75

Equine podiatry — more than one horse£45

Equine podiatry — one horse£55

Boot fit — existing clientsFree as part of a regular hoof appointment

Behavioural work£85 per hour

Payments are preferred on the day of your appointment via cash or bank transfer but must be paid within 7 days of your visit. Clients who repeatedly miss payments will be asked to pay for future scheduled appointments upfront. Repeated reminders will incur a £5 charge to cover admin fees. If you are in financial difficulties and need time to pay, please get in touch and we will do our best to help. Equine Podiatry appointments will still be charged in full even if your horse is not trimmed, as you are paying for the consultation and time.

Cancellation and missed appointments

We require 48 hours' notice to cancel an appointment. If cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours' notice, you will be required to pay for the missed appointment before an alternative time can be arranged. Of course, we will make exceptions for genuine emergencies. If an error is made on our part there will be no charge for the rescheduled appointment. We do not usually accept the weather as being a valid reason for cancelling appointments as here in the UK the weather can be temperamental unfortunately.

Use of photographs

Photographs and radiographs taken during appointments may be used on our social media platforms or for discussion with other hoof care professionals. Consent for this use is assumed unless explicitly withdrawn by the client.
